Hampshire County is a beautiful area of West Virginia and a photographer’s paradise. Low mountains, rolling hills, and expanses of woodland define the vistas far and wide while streams and rivers divide them. Every glen, dale, dell, and hollow has its own character, each more charming than the last. The lowlands are dotted with old farm buildings, farmhouses with deep, welcoming porches and red barns that contrast pleasantly with the greenery and remind us of a simpler life. The winding lanes and backroads beckon us forward and awaken the nomad within. And around every bend, bountiful beauty awaits.
